Burkina Faso government has announced that entry visas will now be issued free of charge to all African nationals.
The development was disclosed during a Cabinet meeting held in Ouagadougou, chaired by the military President, Captain Ibrahim Traoré on Saturday.
Burkina Faso’s Minister of Security, Mahamadou Sana, said the move reaffirms the country’s commitment to strengthening the “historical bonds of brotherhood between African peoples.”
that while the visa will remain mandatory, applicants from African countries will no longer be required to pay any fees to obtain it.
